How it works
No spreadsheets. Enter what you drive and how long you run it, and RCN does the maths.
Car
Pick your car group and enter engine size (cc) and power (bhp). Each group carries its own emissions multipliers.
Track time
Add the minutes you run, whether it is a championship round, a track day or a test day. Championship entries add 30 kg for every tyre.
Offset
Your total falls into a price band. Pay the band and your offset is recorded.
Certificate
You get a certificate with a QR code. Anyone who scans it lands on a public page that confirms it is real.

Every RCN certificate carries a QR code that opens a public verification page, so a sponsor, scrutineer or fan can confirm it in seconds.

A certificate is issued against a calculated footprint and a recorded offset, so the number on it can be traced.

Calculate yoursRCN is a UK platform where drivers, teams and spectators calculate the carbon footprint of motorsport, offset it, and receive a certificate that can be verified online. Championship organisers can run it under their own brand.
Each car belongs to a group with its own multipliers. Grams of CO₂ per minute is your bhp times the group's bhp multiplier, plus your cc times the group's cc multiplier, divided by two. That is multiplied by your minutes on track. Championship entries add 30 kg per tyre, track days add 12 kg and test days add 60 kg.
